Playing six games in three days, the Stars went undefeated, outscoring their opponents 21-6.  The championship was won with only 20 seconds left, when Ella Fleming scored during a three-on-three, sudden death overtime.

Over the past weekend, the U11 Stars won the Hocktoberfest tournament in Lakeshore.  "Implementing a ferocious forecheck, a stingy defence and stellar goaltending, they ploughed through the opposition en route to a 6-0 record capped off by a thrilling 2-1 championship victory over St. Thomas."
