Ryan Hutchison
Growing up in the Essex Minor Hockey Association, I developed a passion for the game at an early age. Hockey quickly became more than just a sport—it was a lifelong commitment. After my playing days were over, I stayed connected to the game through officiating and coaching, gaining valuable experience at various levels, including time as a referee in the OHL and various professional leagues.
As my coaching staff and I enter our third season with the Southpoint Stars, we remain committed to building on the foundation that we’ve established. With a focus on continued growth, development and a strong team culture, we’re dedicated to getting our players to compete at their very best every day while still having fun and growing as individuals, both on and off the ice.
After a strong 2024-2025 season, which included a League Championship and Provincial qualification, we’re excited to carry that momentum forward into the 2025-2026 season.
